The goal of this assignment was to gain a useful understanding of Photoshop as an editing and compositing tool for raster-based images.  The result was a narrative digital collage using the book The Light of Stars by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, written in 1838. The story illustrates the galaxy and the star system and I imagined a child reading it, learning about the galaxy for the first time. With this idea, I wanted to portray a child immersing themselves into the universe using their imagination, feeling curious and fascinated while reading the book.
